Very interesting project.
May I suggest you to provide this as a DIY kit? I think it is a great project but not all of us have access to all the necessary tools to cut Alu, precision drill, etc. I consider myself good at DIY but I don't think I have enough courage to start this project without having all the parts sourced and ready to be assembled.
A kit would be amazing.

Hello, to search for the Z-axis part, there is a missing ane after your référence at IGUS. For example : SLW-1040-F1AT1 xxxxxx where the x are to be defined. Can you give spécific références. Thanks you

The part number on my Igus invoice from 2018 is SLW-1040-F1AT1-D0A0A-0A0A0
It is important to replace the liners of the sliding bearings of the SLW-1040 with JUMO-01-10K liners (4 pcs. needed).

I support the use of the Eding Cnc controller 100 %
I have had very satisfactory customer experience with them .
I also tried various freeware and "eastern" products, and came away shaking my head !

I would completly aggree if would be possible to get KIT separate for aluminium parts, electronic and motors....
I also do not have tools for precise work with aluminium, but when i will build this, I wil have it :)
