If you are looking for a simple setup to get started in the world of neural networks, you should checkout Edge Impulse. A wide variety of development boards and devices can be used, for example, to capture and build a dataset of images which can be used to create neural networks in the cloud. These can then be used in your own applications. We gave it a whirl using Edge Impulse, a Jetson Nano development board and some playing cards.
