In the 1960s and 1970s, if you were into electronics, there were, in my opinion, two devices that you absolutely wanted to build yourself: a radio receiver and a digital clock. Today, this is still true for many electronics enthusiasts — except that now the radio must be digital too. In this article, we explain how to build a digital radio with an ESP32 module and an Arduino shield based on the Si4684 digital receiver chip from Skyworks.
