h2go: Tapwater Purifier
New Delhi based Kiba Design created a nice product concept: the h2go (portable!) tapwater purifier. All you have to do, is place the h2g0 on any watertap and it will make the water drinkable. The purifier uses Silver Impregnated Activated Carbon filters and a Micro-Filtration membrane. The filter is passed through the water by rotating the serrated disc, leaving behind purified water. A separator wall compartmentalises the water so the filtered and unfiltered water do not mix.

Here in the Netherlands we've been drinking tapwater for ages, but still I could use one of these. Whenever I'm abroad, I always have the bad habit of drinking from the tap without checking the water first. The h2go would save quite some tummy aches..
