Arachnophobes… look away now!

This is just a heads up to all arachnaphobes out there; Robugtix are just about up to speed with deliveries of their scarily lifelike T8X robotic spider.
The eight legged robot features the Bigfoot Robotics Engine from the same creators as its predecessor the T8, it includes all the bells and whistles of the original version, and more! The Bigfoot Robotics Engine handles all the complex math calculations necessary for controlling multi-legged walking robots. It is only necessary for the user to send short and simple commands to the robot (for example, instructing it to walk forward at a desired speed), the engine automatically takes care of all the movement details including inverse kinematics, leg trajectory planning, leg gait coordination, motor control, etc. This makes it incredibly easy for anyone to play with advanced robotics.
The original T8X was first announced and available to pre-order on the day of Halloween 2013, since that date the design has undergone some refinement and new customers are now looking at a lead time of 1 to 2 months for delivery of the beast.
Key Specifications of the T8X:
• Wirelessly controlled via Wi-Fi
• Touch-based user interface that works with your own smartphone, tablet device or personal computer
• Ability to share scripts with others
• Ability to communicate with other T8X
• Remotely accessible from anywhere with Wi-Fi connection
• Optional serial communications pins for direct control and custom development
• Powered by 26 advanced Robugtix servo motors with PID control and customization features
• Built-in battery charging system
• Rechargeable battery pack and power adapter included
• Carrying box included
• Ability to change eye color
There’s even a hairy-skin version; put me down as middle of the road spider-tolerant but just looking at how this thing moves in the video (it shows the earlier T8) makes me wonder… where did I leave that baseball bat?
