The winners of electronica Fast Forward 2024 have been announced. Congratulations to the winners!
The electronica Fast Forward 2024 competition has revealed its top innovators, spotlighting startups poised to reshape the electronics landscape. Judged on technical excellence, industry impact, presentation, and future potential, these startups impressed with groundbreaking solutions.
- First Prize was awarded to SpeedPox, celebrated for its ultra-fast curing epoxy resins that drastically cut curing times from hours to seconds using a unique self-propagating mechanism. This technology offers significant energy savings. Messe Muenchen's Dr. Martin Lechner will present the award.
- Second Prize was awarded to BTRY for their energy-dense solid-state batteries, using cutting-edge semiconductor methods to achieve rapid charging and reliability in extreme conditions. Elektor's Brian Tristam Williams presented the award.
- Third Prize was awarded to ICECAP for developing a compact, thermoelectric cooling system optimized for versatile use in high-tech devices. The award was presented by Isabel Obieta Vilallonga of the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA).
- The Ethics in Electronics Award was presented to Banyan.eco for its AI-driven carbon footprint tracking tool, promoting sustainability in electronics. Lenthe Foundation's Don Akkermans presented the award.

Thank you to the panelists and everyone who attended the Influencer Marketing Forum, sponsored by PCBWay, at electronica 2024. Today, we heard from DIY Guy Chris, Max Imagination, Simon Gao (PCBWay), GreatScott!, and Brian Tristam Williams (Elektor).
DIY Guy Chris joined us live for Elektor Lab Talk, during which he talked about many of his innovative projects — and he even showed off a few! Check out his RGB LED Cube project.

Earlier today, Raspberry Pi CEO Eben Upton joined Elektor on stage today to talk about Raspberry Pi products, product development, and much more. The interview will be posted on Elektor TV in the near future.
DIY Guy Chris is stationed at the Elektor booth (B4.440) taking questions from engineers and makers. Through his much-appreciated videos and projects, DIY Guy Chris simplifies advanced electronics through step-by-step guides on topics like LED displays and CNC machines, encouraging innovators to take on new challenges. At electronica 2024, he will hold a soldering competition.
