A few Elektor engineers, editors, and managers recently shared some details about their home offices and electronics workspaces. You got to see where they are designing projects, writing news items, editing magazines and books, and planning new Elektor products and activities. Now it’s your turn to share information about your workspace with the global electronics community.

Whether you are a pro engineer, a university student, or a weekend electronics maker, we are interested in learning about your personal electronics workspace, lab, or workbench. It doesn’t matter whether you have modern lab with super-expensive equipment or just a simple workbench with a soldering station tucked away in a spare closet. We want to hear from you!

Show Off Your Electronics Workspaces

In addition to seeing photos or videos of your spaces, we would like to know about your tools, test equipment, and projects.

  • What does your workspace look like?
  • On which sort of projects do you work?
  • What components, tools, and test equipment do you have in your workspace?
  • How do you handle storage in your workspace?
  • Is there something surprising about your space, such as a secret compartment, a special exhaust system, or custom-built storage?

Ready to share details about your workspace? Simply visit our Workspace Submission page to upload some images and to provide some details about the special place where you design and program electronic systems.

Elektor’s editorial team will consider the most noteworthy submissions for possible publication on our sites and in our magazines, such as Elektor, MagPi (Dutch and French editions), and Make: (Dutch edition). If your submission is selected, an editor will contact you prior to publication. And if your space is truly interesting — or perhaps inspiring, funny, and/or creatively designed — you might just receive something nice from your friends at Elektor.

Show and Tell!

In the coming days and weeks, Elektor’s editorial team will be featuring electronics workspaces on our sites and in our publications. We encourage you to provide details about where you learn and innovate. Let's share!
