First in-house seminar in Hungary - Ersa Representative Microsolder invites to Technology Days in Budapest
Premiere in Hungary. Animated by the great response and the positive feedback from the neighbouring countries, Hungary also decided to hold an in-house seminar. The team around Peter Regos, Managing Director of Microsolder, did an excellent job. Microsolder has been Ersa´s sales partner in Hungary for 20 years and offers the complete range of tools and machines. The seminar itself took place on October 10th and 11th in the rented hall of a trade fair construction company. While the room looked rather chaotic the day before, the perfect ambience had been created practically overnight to present both lectures and machines.

Spread over two days, the programme included lectures in the morning and live presentations in the afternoon. The event was supported by the company Viscom, also partner of Microsolder and well-known for inspection systems. After the welcome by Microsolder CEO Peter Regos, presentations started on process technology and machine features as well as on current and new trends in electronics manufacturing. Ersa Area Sales Manager Tom Berx gave a lecture on THT soldering techniques and went into depth, especially with regard to selective and wave soldering processes. Wolfram Hübsch, Ersa Product Manager Stencil Printing, highlighted SMT technology with a lecture on zero-defect strategy, especially in the field of printing technology. The afternoon was devoted to the machine presentations.
Selective, wave and reflow soldering systems have always been part of Microsolder´s sales structure – now they also want to include stencil printers in their portfolio and establish them on the market. A VERSAPRINT 2 could be seen live during the two days and was inspected with great interest by the present customers. The VERSAPRINT 2 Ultra³, the only stencil printer on the market with integrated 3D solder paste inspection (3D-SPI), was shown as the maximum expansion stage. Of course, the Ersa bestseller – the VERSAFLOW selective soldering system – was not missing in Hungary, in this case represented by the type 4/55. A real product, provided by a customer, was then soldered live. Ersa application engineer Lothar Rodemers showed how a product goes through the entire process chain of the selective soldering process – from setting up with CAD Assistant and optimizing the process parameters to the optimum soldering result, the customers were able to follow the process very closely. A total of around 70 customers were welcomed – Ersa and Microsolder were correspondingly satisfied with the numerous opportunities for exchanging experiences and discussing new projects.
