Light-footed air drum kit with Arduino

Not so long ago, a creative guy hacked his slippers and some hand rakes or similar robust hand tools to build a light footed air drum kit with Arduino. His initial project, part of a technology course, a three piece drum kit with four sounds, three accelerometers, a light sensor and USB ports, was later recreated and somehow improved by other makers.

If you remember Kraftwerk’s concerts played on pocket calculators back in the early eitghies, you might have been impressed then by their air drum.
