Mouser Electronics' New All Things IoT E-Book Explores Opportunities and Obstacles of Industrial IoT
December 12, 2018 - Mouser Electronics Inc. today released a new e-book centered on industrial automation as part of All Things IoT, the latest series in Mouser's award-winning Empowering Innovation Together™ program. In the second e-book in the series, Mouser experts examine the technologies, possibilities and challenges related to the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
The book includes articles on enabling technologies that are shaping IIoT applications, collaborative robots on the factory floor, and new approaches to enterprise security. The All Things IoT series is sponsored by Mouser's valued suppliers Digi International, Maxim Integrated, Murata and TE Connectivity.
"IIoT entails much more than simply connecting sensors to a central system," said Kevin Hess, Senior Vice President, Marketing at Mouser Electronics. "In this new All Things IoT e-book, our experts look at the many facets of IIoT and provide insight into the relationship between advances in technology and this fast-growing market."
Mouser launched the All Things IoT series with a video that followed celebrity engineer Grant Imahara as he visited the Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) IoT Innovation Lab to examine how IoT is impacting our workplaces and cities as a whole. Following the video, Mouser released the first All Things IoT e-book, which focused on home automation.
Since 2015, Mouser's Empowering Innovation Together program has been one of the most visible and recognized programs in the electronic component industry, featuring topics such as the future of human-machine interaction in Generation Robot and the amazing benefits of technologies that are Shaping Smarter Cities.
