Explains Mark Patrick, Supplier Marketing & Business Development Manager, Mouser EMEA, “Mouser is all about supporting and enabling innovation. Virtual reality is a cutting-edge way to tell our story. Effectively, viewers will follow the same process as a component, traveling through all the warehouse processes, from stocking the newest products to pulling, packaging, and shipping orders — taking part in a component's marvelous journey to their doorstep.”
What′s more, Mouser is giving away thousands of sets of cardboard VR headsets for engineers to take the experience to go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ut7JDfRq18
Adds Patrick: “We’ll be doing more VR videos in the future. Our logistics — specifically, how we manage to ship to 500,000 customers in 170 countries with delivery in typically two to three days with industry-leading accuracy levels — are phenomenal, but there are lots of other stories we can tell, including technology or applications videos. Watch this space!”
