Back in 2013, Elektor published Jean-Jacques Aubry’s article series about his 500 ppm LCR Meter project AU2013. Since then, he has been working on a new design. This new LCR Meter focuses on ease of use rather than extreme precision (Figure 1). It offers the following features, functions, and more: component test frequency from 50 Hz to 2 MHz (!), four possible test voltages (100 mV, 200 mV, 500 mV and 1 Vrms), and additional DC polarization up to 5 V for capacitors and 50 mA for inductors.
