Raspberry Pi 4 Case Fan for Overclockers and Power Users
Designed for overclockers and other power users, the Raspberry Pi 4 case fan keeps your board at a comfortable operating temperature even under heavy load.
With Christmas not far away, the Raspberry Pi foundation appears busy launching new products to put in stockings and under the tree. This week's new product is the Raspberry Pi 4 Case Fan, a fan that fits in the official Raspberry Pi 4 Case (but you may have guessed that from its name). To cite the product announcement sheet: The Raspberry Pi 4 Case Fan works with Raspberry Pi 4 and the Raspberry Pi 4 Case (available in grey and red/white).
Designed for overclockers and other power users, it keeps your Raspberry Pi 4 at a comfortable operating temperature even under heavy load.
The fan is temperature-controlled and delivers up to 1.4 cubic feet met minute (CFM) of airflow over the processor, memory, and power management IC. To improve heat transfer from the processor an 18 mm × 18 mm × 10 mm heatsink with self-adhesive pad is included in the kit.
The fan is mounted on a support that clips inside the case. Connecting it is easy as there are only two connectors to plug onto the board.
