Stuart Cording stopped by the Rohde & Schwarz stand at electronica 2022 in Munich for an update on the new MXO 4 Series oscilloscopes. This new range draws upon the advanced capabilities of their high end solutions, bringing extreme measurement performance to new markets. At their core is the MXO EP ASIC, integrating much of the measurement and analysis capability. Offering 12-bit performance across all measurement settings, high responsiveness, and triggering on tiny glitches, the MXO 4 helps engineers rapidly find the cause of problems in electronic systems. It also features in the double-pulse tester from PE Systems. Stuart also explored how part of a quantum computer works with Zurich Instruments, a subsidiary of Rohde & Schwarz .
