According to a survey by the market research institute Statista on behalf of Focus Business magazine, Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH is one of Germany’s best employers in 2019. The ranking is based on a survey of over 140,000 reviews by employees of their own company.
The award winners were determined based on the following criteria: employees’ willingness to recommend their employer to others, XING members’ willingness to recommend their employer to others, and kununu. com’s employer ratings. The previous year’s data was also included, albeit with a lower weighting. All in all, Statista gathered a total of 143,500 employee reviews. On the basis of this study, Rutronik was ranked among the one thousand best-rated employers in Germany.
Award Validates Rutronik’s Current Strategy
Dominik Schmidt, Head of HR Development and Recruiting at Rutronik, views the award as an endorsement of the company’s approach: “We’ve implemented a clear employer branding strategy to position ourselves as an attractive employer, which includes our new recruitment website rutronik-careers.com as well as continuously expanding our range of attractive benefits and challenging training opportunities. The award shows that our employees appreciate our efforts. We’re on the right track. At the same time, it also serves as motivation to continue improving.”
Thomas Rudel, CEO of Rutronik, stresses the importance of a strong employer brand: “Recruiting qualified, motivated employees – especially at a time when there is a shortage of skilled workers – is absolutely critical to us as a company. The image that a company conveys internally and externally is extremely important to applicants. Being named one of Germany’s top employers in 2019 shows that our strategy is working.”
