Elektor manages four online electronics shops in Dutch, English, French, and German, where we sell not only our own products but also carefully selected Trade products. We offer everything an engineer needs for working on projects, from measurement and testing equipment to development boards, tools, and kits. We aim to professionalize our procurement process and are looking for a highly motivated Procurement/Sales Executive to help us in this endeavor.

Procurement/Sales Executive
As our new purchaser, you are a crucial link in our supply chain. You not only negotiate with suppliers about the best deals in terms of price and quality, but you also think strategically about product opportunities and cost savings. You are analytically strong, aware of risks, and focused on the core strategies of Elektor. You are flexible and willing to learn in a dynamic environment. Are you ready to take on and carry this responsibility?You will be responsible for:
- Scouting new products online and at trade shows
- Assortment monitoring and inventory management
- Negotiating terms and conditions and ordering goods
- Preparing logistics and supporting administrative handling
- Preparing and leading purchasing meetings
- Building/Enhancing your own reseller network
- Supporting tasks in the Operations Team
What we ask:
- You are English-speaking (intermediate) and have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Electronics, or a related field. Or you have at least 2 years of experience in sales or purchasing, preferably within the electronics industry
- You have a keen commercial sense and you are able to negotiate deals and contracts with suppliers and resellers
- You have the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, resellers, and industry contacts
- You have analytical skills to evaluate market trends and supplier performance.
- Preferable: You have a solid understanding of the global electronics market
- Preferable: You speak also German, French or Dutch

- Job Type: 20-40h (Full-time or Part-time; Mon-Fri, CET hours)
- Salary: Commensurate with experience
- Travel: Regular trips to Elektor’s engineering lab in Aachen, Germany and Susteren, Netherlands
