Video: What is a PSC Tester?
The prospective short-circuit current (PSCC) of an electrical installation can be calculated using a PSC Tester. In this video we try out the PeakTech 2715 PSC tester.
The prospective short-circuit current (PSCC) is the maximum current that can flow through a shorted electrical circuit. The PSCC value is needed for selecting devices like circuit breakers and fuses to protect the circuit. You can measure the PSCC of an electrical installation with an instrument called a PSC Tester. In this video we try out the PeakTech 2715 PSC tester.
