Presentation of the compact temperature measurement device
Norman Rönz, PR Manager at Optris, once more presented the special features of the Xi 80 in-situ. It combines the advantages of a modern infrared camera and those of a compact infrared thermometer. With up to 9 analog (0/4-20 mA or 0-10 V) or alarm outputs via process interfaces, the motorized focus as well as the possibility to use it as a semi-autonomous pyrometer, the sensor is perfectly suited to OEM application, so for example in the plant and mechanical engineering sector, or in the multisensor applications sector.
Third Optris product line awarded
The messtec + sensor masters award is a renowned sector award, and went to Optris for the first time in 2018. “In addition to the classic pyrometer line and the high-performance infrared camera series, the newly designed compact infrared camera series were now also recognized”, enthused Torsten Czech, Head of Product Management at Optris.
In 2007 Optris won the “Industry innovation prize” for the optris® CTlaserpyrometer, and in 2012 the optris® PI 160 infrared camera was honored with the TR Award.
