microcontroller with a powerful BASIC
interpreter lurking in its on-board
mask-programmed ROM. The authors,
having worked with this IC tor sometime,
discovered certain flaws in the BASIC
interpreter, and set out to produce a
better, taster version that can be run from
EPROM.
