The 'Medium power a. f. amplifier
uses a relay for the
switch-on delay to suppress
annoying switching plops.
When the amplifier ts switched
off, however, the relay, owing
to hysteresis, rematns actuated
for a short time, which results
in switch-off clicks. Although
these are harmless. they are
annoying. The present circuit
makes them things ofthe past.
