This circuit allows a PC or a suitably
programmed microcontroller system
to control a stepper motor. Rather
than relying on the latest in dedicated
motor controller ICs, this
interface is based on ordinary eMOS
logic, discrete transistors and one
ULN power driver IC. The Interface
is designed with extension in mind,
because a doughterboard may be
added to control a second stepper
motor.
