Eben Upton is a founder of the Raspberry Pi Foundation and the CEO of Raspberry Pi (Trading) Ltd. He holds a BA, PhD, and MBA from the University of Cambridge. Upton has held positions at a variety of companies and organizations, including Broadcom, University of Cambridge, and Podfun.
Nathan Seidle While studying electrical engineering as an undergraduate, Nathan Seidle founded SparkFun Electronics, an open-source hardware company. For 18 years, SparkFun has been a leader in open source technology and manufacturing and is committed to releasing products with data sheets, tutorials and clear product photos with multiple views. The company provides tools, hardware and educational resources for engineers, prototypers, researchers, and hobbyists who want to explore electronic gadgetry and digital fabrication. Nathan has served on the board of the Open Source Hardware Association, has been invited to the White House to participate in discussions around intellectual property policy and patent reform, and has spoken in front of Congress on copyright and trademark policy.
Clemens Valens is the Technical Manager of Elektor Labs. He holds a BSc in Electronics and an MSc in Electronics and Information Technology. Valens started working for Elektor in 2008 as editor in chief of Elektor France, and he has also worked as an editor for Elektor UK/US and ElektorMagazine.com. He currently produces engineering tutorials and product reviews at Elektor TV. In recent videos, Clemens covered the following topics and more: Arduino compiler optimizations, GitHub essentials, home automation, getting started with KiCad EDA, and several informative product reviews.
Mathias Claussen is a software engineer and editor at Elektor. He holds an BSc in Electrical and Information Engineering and a MSc in Microelectronic Systems. He started as project engineer for embedded development with a focus on ARM Cortex-M-based architectures and real-time operating systems. He is also a trained IT systems electronics technician. When Mathias started at Elektor in 2018, he was focused on engineering tasks (mostly software-related) for the Elektor Lab team. Today, in addition to his software projects, he contributes to the Elektor TV channel, writes articles for Elektor magazine, and presents some of his KiCad creations.
