Speak at WEEF 2021
The WEEF 2021 leadership team is offering on-stage speaking opportunities to electronics industry thought leaders interested in addressing key ethics-related topics. We will feature professional engineers, influential makers, academics, and high-tech executives interested in talking about the following topics and more:- Autonomous technologies (their uses and impact)
- Corporate social responsibility activities
- Green electronics and the European Green Deal
- Eco-friendly design and manufacturing
- Ethics in the workplace
- Smart technology and privacy
- Sustainable development goals (SDG)
- Use of artificial intelligence and machine learning

The 2021 Program
The WEEF 2021 program will feature talks and debates on the most pressing ethical issues facing the electronics industry. The WEEF team comprises engineers, journalists, and executives from Elektor, ELEKTRONIK PRAXIS, and productronica. Our mission is to inspire global innovators in electronics with an open discussion about ethics and sustainable development goals. We ask potential speakers and attendees to consider the following questions.- Do electrical engineers, programmers, and company leaders have an ethical responsibility to use their technical skills and innovations in positive ways?
- Should ethics play a big role in how electronics companies (both start-ups and long-established firms) conduct their business?
- How can C-level executives at electronics companies incorporate sustainable development, green manufacturing, and social responsibility in their business plans?
- How do sourcing and logistics decisions affect the local communities and the environment?
