The Powered Body Board concept by Design Icon is an electric sea scooter and wave riding machine with zero carbon carbon dioxide emission. According to the designer, the Powered Body Board is fully submersible and able to ride waves.

As a surfer I look at inventions like these with great scepticism. Any wave over 3 foot can easily snap a surfboard in pieces. The Powered Body Board doesn't look like a machine that is designed to withstand the power of waves. I'm looking forward to see somebody ride a decent wave with this invention. But apart from riding waves, it would be great just cruising around with the thing and to check out some reefs and ocean life.
