The Elektor Fortissimo-100 audio power amplifier is a great amplifier with high-quality sound. However, to get the most out of it, it needs a good power supply. The Elektor ±40 V Linear Voltage Regulator is just that. The linear regulator comes as a kit and in this video we show you how to assemble it.

Assembling the Linear Voltage Regulator Kit

To obtain good and durable results, you must respect a certain order when assembling the ±40 V linear regulator kit. In this video, we show the steps in the order that, we think, is easiest. There may be other ways, so if you want to take another route, feel free to do so.

The kit includes all the parts you need to assemble the ±40 V linear regulator, but not the tools. Also, thermal paste or grease is not included. Make sure you have some before beginning the assembly.
