electronica fast forward, the start-up platform powered by Elektor, is back with a new way of presenting great innovations and technologies. We will
present start-ups and scale-ups to the worldwide electronics community at the trade fair
electronica 2022, in Munich. This year we will show the best of the best, selected and approved by Elektor. Based on submissions and the opinions of industry connoisseurs, our initial long list has been evaluated by our jury. The jury is consisting of one electronics engineer, one editor, one marketeer, and one business expert. They have ranked each start- and scale-up following our well-proven ranking system, specifically developed for this purpose.
The selected start-ups will be given a big part of our
273 m² booth to present their technology/services combined with a forum, where we bring extraordinary speakers on the stage. The start-ups will be given a marketing budget of a total of
€150,000.
This is an invite-only competition but we encourage everyone to join the show and visit our electronica fast forward booth. To round up this year's electronica fast forward, we will invite also a unique electronics-related university team to the trade floors. So, keep an eye on the
electronica newsletter and make sure to visit the electronica fast forward booth

Who won electronica Fast Forward 2020?
After studying the provided documents and watching the videos, and merging in the public votes, the jury – headed by Professor Rik De Doncker from RWTH Aachen University (see below) – selected three winners:
- First Prize - €75,000 Elektor marketing budget & a starter booth at electronica 2022
- Second Prize - €50,000 Elektor marketing budget
- Third Prize - €25,000 Elektor marketing budget
The winning three start-ups were chosen by the jury because of their high commercial potential and the quality of the team, two important criteria for a start-up to grow into a successful business.
Congratulations to the winners!
