Elektor Edition September / October

The future is wireless! In the September/October 2022 edition of Elektor, we focus on Wireless Applications-related projects, technologies, and solutions. In particular, we look at wireless data transmission via Bluetooth LE, among other things. Elektor engineer Mathias Claußen shows how easy it is to transmit sensor values from an ESP32-C3 to an ESP32 without using Wi-Fi. With the right libraries, programming a small BLE application is not black magic. In this issue, we also detail a BLE sniffer and a small project that transmits measurement data to the Telegram messaging service. And in the Industry section, editor Stuart Cording looks at privately operated 5G networks. The issue is also packed with in-depth articles on a variety of other topics, including a hackable CO2 meter, a Fliege notch filter, remote sensing, and an RP2040-based magic RGB LED cube design.

In this edition, we also update you about our plans for Electronica Fast Forward, the start-up platform powered by Elektor (e-ffwd 2022), which will wrap up with a presentation at electronica 2022 in Munich, Germany in November 2022. Check out the article in the edition for details about some of the start-ups under review. A total prize pool of €150,000 in marketing exposure and a highly desirable invitation to electronica 2024 are up for grabs. Visit www.elektormagazine.com/effwd-2022 for details.
