As you’ve probably noticed, Elektor was at the Embedded World trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany, from March 11 to 13. Watch the video below and join the engaging conversation we had with Anant Gupta from Espressif. We’re pleased to catch up with Anant again, following his participation in the ESP32-P4 webinar we published recently!

At Embedded World 2025, Espressif presented a technically rich lineup that highlights its continued focus on wireless connectivity and high-performance, energy-efficient microcontrollers. You’ll get a firsthand look at the popular ESP32-P4, known for its rich HMI capabilities and support for multiple GUI frameworks. See it in action powering displays through MIPI-to-HDMI bridges and explore its flexibility across real-world applications.

Of course, the ESP32-C6 and the upcoming C5 are also in the spotlight, drawing attention for their strong wireless features. While the C6 is already used in commercial products, anticipation builds for the upcoming C5, especially due to its Wi-Fi sensing potential!

Also shown is the ESP32-H4 in ultra-low-power scenarios, indicating its suitability for battery-powered or energy-harvesting applications. Complementing this, a Matter protocol demo shows Espressif’s readiness for smart home interoperability and connected device ecosystems. Anant also covers AI use cases, using the OpenAI Embedded SDK for multilingual interaction and robotic control. Watch the video below and get a glimpse of what’s coming next in embedded systems:
