temperature-compensated reference voltage

The popular 723 IC regulator has an. on-chip reference voltage with a fairly low temperature coefficient. By using a simple gimmick the 723 can be used as an `oven` to maintain itself (and hence the reference voltage) at a virtually constant temperature, thus practically eliminating the temperature dependence of the reference voltage.
