PSUs on PCBs

The printed circuit board has been completed and tested. It is working fine and now ready to fit into the case. But what about the power supply? Is it still that `Christmas tree` tacked onto the transformer terminals? It happens to most of us (or so it would seem) judging from the comments in our reader`s letters. All too often the power supply is forgotten until the last moment, especially if the test equip-ment includes a variable power supply.
