For solar panels to operate at maxi-mum efficiency, however, it is important that the cells face squarely into the sun. Since the sun`s position is constantly changing (apologies to Messrs. Kepler and Galileo). it is thus necessary to employ a `solar tracker`, which will vary the orientation of the solar panel accordingly.
