This robot is an example of a simple cybernetic model, i.e. it will take whatever manoeuvres necessary to navigate its way around any obstacles placed in its path. The robot will continue to travel in a straight line until it bumps into an obstruction of some sort, it then changes direc-tion to avoid the object in its way; if it becomes completely stuck, al I the drive motors are switched off.
