Metal Detector

One of the projects near the top of our "most requested projects" list has, for some time, been a metal detector. The reason for the delay in publishing an article on the subject is that construction of a good detector (and not one that just detects something) is a very difficult proposition. The very first major problem that rears its head is that of stability, since this is dependent on a number of aspects. To achieve a stable circuit design is not easy when cost is taken into consideration.
