To TV games computer owners, a major source of irritation is the time it takes to locate a program on tape and load it. The whole procedure can take as long as two or three minutes! Terrible. Two or three seconds would be infinitely better. Faced with this problem ourselves (yes, and irritated!) we started looking for a solution — and found one. Using some further hardware, games can be stored in EPROM; a simple program can transfer any desired game to the RAM area within seconds.
