RLC meter - to quickly identify unknown resistors, inductors and capacitors
RLC meter elektor february 1985 to quickly identify unknown resistors, inductors and capacitors If we were to make a list of equipment for an electronics laboratory this RLC meter would feature high in the order of preference. Possibly it would be second only to the multimeter. In a way this is a sort of multimeter: a simple instrument that can measure the values of resistors, inductors and capacitors. The meter is reasonably accurate, easy to build and even quite inexpensive. In short, it is simply too good an opportunity to be missed. 2-56 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 1...10 Q 10 100 52 100 4...1 k$2 1...10 k4 10 100 k52 100 k4...1 MQ 0.1...1 pH 1...10 pH 10...100 pH 10...100 mH 100 mH ...1 H 1...10 pF 10 ..100 pF 100 pF. .1 nF 1...10 nF 10. .100 nF 100 nF...1 pF 1...10 pF RLC meter At times Elektor has been criticized for the lack of test instruments published in the magazine. That criticism is no longer justified as we have published (among other projects) a capacitance meter, pulse generato...
