Our real-time clock, based on a CMOS IC, guarantees that you always have the right time and date at your fingertips, or rather on your monitor. It has a back-up battery as protection against mains failure or computer failure and is suitable for use with 6502 and Z80 microprocessors. 4-48 More and more modern computers are provided with an internal clock which enables the monitor to display the correct date and time whenever required.
