When robbers hijacked a lorry carrying
£300,000 worth of cigarettes in London,
they thought the police had been left far
behind as they lost themselves in the
city's busy rush-hour traffic. They did not
realize that the lorry contained a low-frequency
transmitter that broadcast its position
wherever it went. The thieves were
soon arrested.
