Many people find that when they want to
add a CD player to their aud io system,
there is no available input left on their
power amplifier. It seems obvious to use
the phono input. but that presents a coupIe
of problems. This input ls far too sensitive
for a CD player and, moreover, it
passes the signal via an RIAA frequency
correction network to the amplifier. The
present network can salve both problems
without any internal changes to the audio
system, since it ts merely plugged into the
phono input socket.
