Most satellite receivers provide
a direct voltage at
their coaxtat output which,
depending on the plane of polarization
of the set program,
is either 13/17 V or 14/18 V.
This voltage is applied to the
external unit via the coaxial
cable to enable the polarizer
to be switched over. This functions
very well as lang as the
polarizer is integrated in the
LNB.
