Car battery monitor

The ignition warning light in a car indicates whether the battery is being charged or not (and indeed whether it is connected properly to the electrical system). It does not tell the driver, however, the state of the battery*. This information is of particular interest to mobile home and caravan owners, since these have to take into account additional appliances and a second battery. The modular monitor described indicates the level and the direction of the battery current, in other words whether it is being charged or discharged. It does so without the need for any leads to be interrupted.
