International Microprocessor competition 1997 / The Winners

When he received his prize for the 1995 Elektor Electronics Circuit Design Competition, the winner of the international first prize, Laurent Lamesch, had his next project planned already. It was going to be an IC tester with microprocessor control, suitable for stand-alone operation. The fantastic results, as it turned out, not even Laurent himself was able to guess: he won the International First Prize in Elektor’s 1997 Microprocessor Competition.
