The projects received in response to the Flash Design Competition we ran in the Summer Circuits 2002 issue were generally of a very high level. What’s more, nearly all projects were extensively documented. The result: much deliberation among the Jury members, but one clear winner: a chess computer designed by Pedram Azad and Tilo Gockel.
