Infographics -- Oscilloscopes: Nothing Special, Or… According to Zion Market Research the market size for oscilloscopes will roughly grow at a rate of around 7% between 2020 and 2026. This is nothing special, considering that the overall market for IT and ICT is expected to expand at a similar rate. One thing should be mentioned though. Analogue oscilloscopes once held the highest market share but now come in third after their digital and PC based counterparts. Digital oscilloscopes are lightweight, more versatile and (increasingly) user friendly. The jury is still out on the question if the analogue oscilloscope is definitely on its way out during the next decade.
