Apply the chipKIT™ Max32™ development kit and the award-winning DesignSpark PCB software tool to create environmentally friendly applications
DesignSpark chipKITTM Design Challenge
Officially launched in late November at Elektor Live! and offering total cash prizes of $10,000, including a first prize of $5,000, the DesignSpark chipKITTM challenge is all about encouraging engineers, students and hobbyists to think about the use of power and develop solutions that will increase energy efficiency while also maintaining an eco-friendly footprint. The prize-winning application can be anything that reduces the energy footprint of a system. For example, it could be an energy-efficient battery charger, a controller for a windmill, or perhaps an energy-usage management device for use in the home.
