With Covid-19 disrupting normal patterns of work for many, the photos and discussions of everyone’s lockdown achievements on social media have been even more difficult to bear than usual. Whether it is banana bread, Zoom yoga, or building a Raspberry Pi cluster, you are left feeling as though you wasted the opportunity Covid-19 disruption presented as world governments restricted movement. So, did being furloughed or working from home give us time to improve our skills? If it did, what did we all do and what resources did we find?
