In industrial environments, there are numerous cases in which galvanic isolation of circuit components is required. Capacitive digital isolators simplify the implementation and transmit the user signals safely and reliably across an isolation barrier. The following example circuit shows how capacitive digital isolators can be used for galvanic isolation of remote industrial devices.
