Panasonic Industry Europe recently introduced a new series of smoothing capacitors featuring a high ripple current of 5.8Amps and enabling miniaturization of switching power supplies. The SEPG series of radial lead type conductive polymer aluminium solid capacitors also benefits from very low ESR values of maximum 10mΩ and very stable characteristics at a very wide temperature range from -55°C up to +105°C.
SEPG series components have a very long operating life span, excellent moisture resistance, and are fully RoHS compliant and halogen free.
Andreas Lapucha, Product Marketing Manager Capacitors at Panasonic remarks: “Thanks to their excellent moisture resistance our new SEPG series capacitors are well suited for use in outdoor applications like base stations, security cameras, and PV inverters. They are also well suited for use in electronic meters, industrial displays, and server/data centers.”
