Elektor's Components Database Updated
on
Every electronics engineer knows it like no other: quick and easy access to reliable component information and specifications is primordial to get a project finished in time. This is where Elektor’s Components Database (ECD) can save valuable time and unhealthy frustration. The ECD is packed with eight databanks covering thousands of integrated circuits, transistors, diodes and optocouplers. A further eleven applications cover the calculation of, for example, zener diode series resistors, voltage regulators, voltage dividers and AMV’s. A color band decoder is included for determining resistor and inductor values.
Each databank contains the following on (almost) every component: enclosure drawing, pin connections and electrical specifications. Also included is a search engine acting on user supplied parameters. All databank applications are fully interactive, allowing the user to add, edit and complete component data. The ECD 7 CD-ROM gives you easy access to design data for over 11,100 integrated circuits, more than 37,000 transistors, FETs, thyristors and triacs, more than 25,000 diodes and some 2,000 optocouplers.
NOTE: Elektor magazine members can benefit from a special limited-time offer. If they order before Friday October 12, 2012 they take advantage of no less than 20% discount on the regular price of ECD 7. What's more, we pay shipping and handling for the entire order. Benefit now!
