Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry's leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, is now stocking the LUMAWISE photo control base assembly, sleeve and cover from TE Connectivity (TE), a global leader in connectivity and sensors. These LUMAWISE photo control products help ensure long-term reliability by combining a power and signal interface to the dimming receptacle.
TE’s LUMAWISE photo control base assembly, sleeve and cover, available from Mouser Electronics, maximizes the effectiveness of light-sensing devices through the use of optional clear covers; colored covers are also available to designate specific voltage ratings. The base assembly features power twist lock terminals, spring leaf signal terminals and a separately packaged foam gasket, and meets the ANSI 136.41 standard for roadway and area lighting equipment.
The fully assembled LUMAWISE photo control operates over a temperature range of minus 40 to 105 degrees Celsius and achieves an IP66 rating, providing robust protection against dust and heavy jet spray in exposed weather conditions. Additionally, the cover meets the highest UL 94 flammability rating, 5VA. LUMAWISE base assemblies are available in diameters of 76 mm and 81 mm with covers of different heights to allow designers to choose the right option for their applications.
TE’s LUMAWISE photo control products are suitable for a variety of lighting applications, such as outdoor roadway, street, and area lighting fixtures, including those in harsh weather conditions.
