Mouser Electronics Announces Global Agreement to Distribute Arm-based Products from MYIR Tech
on
December 13, 2018 - Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest semiconductors and electronic components, today announces a global distribution agreement with MYIR Tech, a global provider of Arm® hardware, software tools and design solutions for embedded applications. Through the agreement, customers around the world gain access to MYIR's products through Mouser's best-in-class service, quick delivery, and easy payment options.
The MYIR product line now available from Mouser Electronics includes Arm-based development boards, system-on-modules (SoMs), and single board computers (SBCs) ideal for industrial control, automation, medical instruments, Internet of Things (IoT), communications, and other embedded applications.
The MYC-AM335X SoM integrates a Texas Instruments Sitara AM335x Arm Cortex®-A8 processor, plus a PowerVR™ SGX530 for 2D and 3D graphics acceleration and PRU/ICSS support for real-time protocols, such as EtherCAT and PROFINET. Similar to the MCC-AM335X SoM, the MCC-AM335X-J and MCC-AM335X-Ymodules also incorporate a Sitara AM335x processor, but include a TI TPS65217C power management IC (PMIC) and use a DDR2 SO-DIMM 200-pin gold finger expansion interface (MCC-AM335X-J) or 1.27-mm pitch, 146-pin stamp hole expansion interface (MCC-AM335X-Y)
The MYC-C437X module is a compact, low-cost SoM based on a 1 GHz TI Sitara AM437x Arm Cortex-A9 processor with 512 MBytes of DDR3 SDRAM and 4 GBytes of eMMC flash. The MYC-C437X offers 3D graphics acceleration for rich graphical user interfaces, PRU-ICSS for industrial protocols, two independent eight-channel analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), and support for two parallel cameras.
The 37 mm × 39 mm, shielded MYC-Y6ULX SoMs are powered by a 528 MHz NXP i.MX 6UL or i.MX 6ULL processor based on the Arm Cortex-A7 architecture, delivering high performance with ultra-efficient power for robust embedded applications. The modules are ready to run Linux and can support an industrial operating temperature of minus 40 to 85 degrees C.
The MYC-C7Z020 CPU module is a Linux-ready SoM based on a Xilinx Zynq 7020 system-on-chip (SoC) with two Arm Cortex-A9 cores and integrated FPGA logic. In addition to the SoM's Gigabit Ethernet PHY, and USB PHY, two 0.8 mm-pitch, 140-pin board-to-board connectors provide a large number of input/output (I/O) signals for Arm peripherals and FPGA I/Os to enable base board extension.
